Anne-Marie Duff, an English actress, who also writes stories is a very talented person. Following her graduation in Drama Centre London Duff made television appearances on Trial & Retribution Amongst Women as well as Aristocrats in the late 1990s. Anne-Marie Duff is a Britsih actress born on 08 October 1970. She was born in Chiswick, London, United Kingdom. Anne-Marie Duff (born 8 October 1970) is an English stage and screen actress. She first gained prominence for her role as Fiona Gallagher during the UK's Shameless series. She then played The Virgin Queen Elizabeth I on the television series The Virgin Queen (2006) and was also the main character in the television series From Darkness in 2015. Duff was in movies such as Enigma (2001) The Magdalene Sisters Notes from a Scandal (2006) French Film (2008) The Last Station and Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014) as well as Suffragette (2015). In 2015, the Virgin Queen Shameless Nowhere Boy Suffragette Shameless and The Virgin Queen earned her BAFTA nominations for the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actresses. The History of Mr Polly was the movie in which she won the BAFTA Cymru Award as Best Actress. Anne-Marie Duff excels as an English award-winning actress. Her work has seen her appear on radio, television and theater with equal aplomb. She became a household name for her role as Fiona Gallagher, in British comedy-drama show Shameless. Anne-Marie is also a skilled stage actor, having spent more than two decades experience on the stage. She has performed extensively in The Royal National Theatre.
